Coaching Staff

HI, my name is Lorrie Wallis, founder and director of the North Star All Star Cheerleading program.  Married to Norm for 36 years, we have two lovely girls and 3 grandchildren.

I started coaching in 1991 and soon became the head of our local cheer organization and also head of the cheer league as well  serving many districts. Brought certifications and training to our local pop warner league and Increased participation at the local competition levels.  Served on many committees locally, state and regional levels.   I am a certified and a credentialed coach with USASF, CPR/First Aid Certified, cheer judge and run local camps and coaches clinics.

I really enjoy coaching, then started and founded the North Star All Star Cheer program in 2004 and run it as a non-profit organization full of dedicated volunteer coaches, staff, and board members.

Received awards for coach of the year, nominated for coach of the year with Cheer Ltd, judged and head judged many cheer competitions. We have been awarded many spirit and sportsmanship awards over the 27 years and accomplished many community action projects.

I work full time with Eastern Shore Associates in Camden, NY as an insurance agent.   In 2001 I joined the local Volunteer Fire department where I now serve as secretary, exterior fire personnel and fire police.  I recently joined the local Lions Club.

I love my family, spending time with the grandchildren and being around fun and energetic people.  My side passion is remodeling, painting, staining and decorating our home and our gym.
